How do I set meat probe temperatures on my device?

Why isn't my Pit Boss Grill getting hot enough?

You should clean your Pit Boss grill every time you burn through about 40–60 lbs of pellets. Use a vacuum to remove ash from the fire pot and bottom of the grill, scrape grease from the flame broiler, and wipe the interior with a light degreaser. Don’t forget to empty the grease bucket regularly.

It’s normal not to see much smoke from your Pit Boss grill. Pellet grills burn very cleanly, so even at low temperatures they produce a thin, bluish smoke that can be hard to see. The white smoke you notice during startup comes from pellets smoldering before they ignite. As your flame broiler becomes seasoned with drippings over time, you may see slightly more white smoke and richer smoke flavor.

Yes. Some models combine grilling, smoking, baking, roasting, and searing, giving users multiple cooking styles in one unit.

Many Pit Boss grills and smokers feature oversized cooking surfaces designed to handle big meals, multiple proteins, or full racks of ribs.
